Another Enjoyable Evening

Our most recent fund raising concert, held on the evening of the 15th July 2023 at Skydive Hibaldstow, proved to be another full house. Led by the indomitable James Wood the Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Concert Band entertained us with another stirring performance of classical arrangements, evergreens and music from the movies. With the addition of a raffle for prizes you wouldn’t want to miss out on we sincerely hope that everybody had a great time.

Our thanks go to all who attended the event to support the ongoing work of the Heritage Centre and gave generously, to Skydive Hibaldstow for hosting us so warmly and of course to James and all the band members for another memorable evening. With the additional generosity of a couple of members who dug deeply to defray the band’s costs for the evening our finances received a considerable boost.

The further good news is that, given the popularity of these concerts, we are once again going to hold a Christmas concert at the same venue. This will be on Saturday 9th December 2023. Full details will be published in due course but for now please make a note in your diaries.
